How can I find out where to buy a specific product I am interested in?

To find out which retailer carries a specific style you are interested in, you can either go to the Find Silks® section on our site to contact a retailer near you; or feel free to contact our Customer Service department at 1.800.668.8880. We will be pleased to assist you in finding the hosiery product you are looking for!

How do I find out what the “hosiery terminology” on your packaging and on your website means?

Go to our Terms Glossary for definitions on specific hosiery terminology you don’t understand. If what you are looking for isn’t there, just send us an email at silks@phantom.ca and we will get back to you with the answer and add it to our website.

Do you have your own retail stores?

Yes we do have our own outlet stores under the Phantom® banner; click here for store locations.

Where can I find discontinued products?

We do carry many discontinued products at our Phantom outlet stores, as well as at our warehouse sales. Certain retailers also carry discontinued products at times: please call us at 1.800.668.8880 for more information.

Does Silks® have a warehouse sale and when is it?

Silks® does run semi-annual warehouse sales at our location at 207 Weston Road, Toronto, M6N 4Z3. We will post dates and times on our website once we know them, so keep checking our site! You can also sign up to receive our e-newsletter to receive updates on our warehouse sales and other special events. You might also want to visit our Phantom outlet stores for a selection of discontinued and slightly imperfect items.

Why does Silks® discontinue my favourite size/colour/style?

Sometimes a style, size, or colour will be discontinued because that style isn’t in high demand at retail stores. Please feel free to contact our customer service department at 1-800-668-8880. We can recommend and help you find an alternative style or colour that is most similar to the one you liked.

What is the best way to wash my hosiery?

Please go to our Product Care section for optimal washing and care instructions that will extend the life of your Silks hosiery products. As well, we recommend that you follow the detailed instructions on the product package

Why is one leg shorter/longer than the other on my hosiery product?

Hosiery is extremely stretchy and leg lengths often vary visually due to the finishing process in manufacturing. When the hosiery is stretched onto your leg you will find that there is absolutely no noticeable difference in fit between the two legs.

Is there a specific way to put on pantyhose?

What is the difference between sandalfoot toe, shadow toe and reinforced toe?

What is a waistless adjustable panty?

Waistless hosiery has no waistband and can be positioned anywhere on the body that is comfortable.

According to your size chart, I bought the right size of pantyhose. Why doesn’t it fit me?

Due to different body shapes you may need to try a different size or style for ultimate comfort. The size chart acts as a guideline but your personal preference in terms of fit and comfort will dictate the best size for you. If your height and weight is on the border between two sizes on the size chart, you may want to try the next size up.
